“Everyone Matters” was the motto of Dame Kitty Anderson, the inspirational Headteacher at North London Collegiate School whose ideas made such an impression on young Margaret Archibald who entered the school in 1960 aged 11.

Fifty years later that motto became the name of Margaret’s new charity, set up in the belief that music-making has the power to bring people together, young and old, professional and amateur, teachers and pupils, carers and their clients.

Music matters.

When people come together to share music, then Everyone Matters.

Engaging people of all ages and abilities in relaxing informal concerts and hands-on workshops

Achievements, performance and stories from our work creating and sharing music with residents of care homes and children in nurseries and schools

Here are some of the talented people who create and deliver our projects

Everyone Matters is grateful for the generous support of its funders.

Everyone Matters grew out of Margaret Archibald’s work as Education and Community Manager for the London Mozart Players where for 21 years she devised and organised hundreds of workshops and concerts for all ages across the UK.
